The Boeing 787-8 flies for the first time

Seattle, WA Dec. 15, 2009.  I had planned on going to see this magnificent aircraft fly, but I had work committments hence I could not.  Technology made me feel like I was righ there though when it took to the skies at 10:27a PT in Everett, WA from the Paine Field Airport (PAE) at the home of the Boeing Company.  A little under four hours later, it landed at Boeing Field in Seattle, WA (BFI).

Now the fun begins to make the first delivery by the end of 2010 to ANA of Japan.

You can find some pictures I took at the roll our ceremony in July of 2007
