Cathay Pacific Business Class Now Available From Washington-Dulles (IAD) to Hong Kong (HKG) As Their Longest Route

I love taking long flights. I’ve flown many of the world’s longest flights including the world’s longest by Singapore Airlines from Newark, NJ (EWR) to Singapore (SIN). So of course I was excited to hear that Cathay Pacific has launched their foray into the mix with the their 8,154M/13,123KM from Hong Kong to Washington-Dulles, Virginia which is offering their new Cathay Pacific Business Class product.



The flight was launched on September 16, 2018 operating four times a week initially. Here’s the schedule:
- CX860 M/TU/TH/SA HKG 17:55 to IAD 21:45 16H50M
- CX861 SU/TU/W/F IAD 01:20 to HKG 5:15 +1 Day 14H55M

This is made possible by their all new Airbus A350-1000 which has the following configuration for a total of 334 passengers:
Business Class: 46 in a 1-2-1 configuration so that everyone has access to an aisle.

Premium Economy Class: 32 in a 2-4-2 configuration

Economy Class: 256 in a 3-3-3 configuration
