Aviation Geek and Travel Blogger To Fly The World Longest Flight By Time
Los Angeles, California – On Monday, November 20, 1017, Kerwin, TravelPreneur and Travel Blogger will fly the world’s longest flight by time. This is United Airlines’ Boeing 787-9 flight from Los Angeles, CA (LAX) to Singapore (SIN) with a scheduled flight time of 17:55.
This flight is the longest flight on a Boeing 787-9 and the longest flight by any U.S. carrier. It is also the second longest flight in the world behind Qatar Airways’ Boeing 777-200LR’s flight from Doha, Qatar (DOH) to Auckland, New Zealand (AKL).
It’s no secret that Kerwin is an aviation geek. He took his first flight at age nine to a local airport in Jamaica where he grew up. It wasn’t until six years later that he was able to board another flight, this time to Martinique for a French student exchange program. From that point on, he got the bug and continues flying today after various positions at four airlines (Delta, ATA, Continental and United) and retiring in 2011.
You can follow Kerwin via the hashtag #WhereisKerwin on Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/loyaltytravels), Instagram (http://www.instagram.com/loyaltytravels) and Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/theexperttraveler) and experience the flight with him. Watch for photos, videos, Facebook Lives and Instagram stories on all the indicated social media channels. Don’t forget to follow him on these channels, share with your friends and setup your accounts to be notified when he broadcasts.
Come experience the flight and Singapore for 28 hours and 10 minutes. This really is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
