Wont Fly the

| First of all, never fly that most disappointing airline. LGW to POP and back again as part of a package holiday, 9 hours each way. Rude cabin crew and food for each journey:
1. Disgusting meal, rock solid beans and 2. Sandwiches with no crusts! Ergh! Take my advice. Britannia could offer three full meals the year before, come on Monarch! Also, the headphones couldn't be used because the volume button was damaged and didn't work, what was done? Absolutely nothing. I would never fly Monarch again, not as long as I live! I am not sure as to what the flight number was, I have had a guess, it may be right for all I know! |

Disappointing |
| We boarded on time
and all was going well. We taxi out to the main taxiway and we are informed that there is bad weather at
Dulles and return to gate to deplane. After 1 hour delay, we board again,
then taxied to the runway. Because of the inevitable congestion at EWR, we
sat on the taxiway for a good 1/2 hour, having been given no takeoff priority. (We are
in a Jetstream J-41 while Boeing 777's are trying to take off). The
plane was extremely cramped, noisy, and hot. The flight time is really a lot longer on those turboprops compared to the CRJ-CL65 that I flew up on. |

| Atlantic Coast Air's CRJ-200's are quiet, fast and
comfortable. We had to take off 1/2 an hour late because of traffic at Newark (what a surprise!) it was a short (25 min) and
pleasant flight, especially since I got to sit in 1A next to an empty seat. |

| The aircraft was a
VERY VERY old Boeing 747-400 (probably used it since 1994). Good
food, but the light doesn't work. I tried to call the flight
attendants, but the call button was broken. The seat was so bad that
I had to fix the reclining manually=(. I got a window seat at the
back and enjoyed looking down at the Aleutian Islands=D. |

They served us Seafood Pasta and Chicken noodles for lunch. I tried the Seafood Pasta and it taste really great.
For dinner, they served us Chilli Prawns and Pork, but before the Pork could get to me, they have already finished.
Why I chose "Just Short of Perfect" is because the entertainment on the flight is not that great.
We did not have a personal TV like what Singapore Airlines (SQ) has |

Won't fly the airline again |
| This was actually a non-flight.
All flights were cancelled out of DFW that evening. This was not the problem. The problem was that American Eagle would not give us our luggage. They said that even though all flights for the rest of the night were cancelled, we could not get our luggage until
10 p.m. (our flight was at 5:30 p.m. and we had a business meeting early the next morning). We could not wait for it so we rented a car and drove down to Waco. The next day we were told by American Eagle that they would not deliver our luggage to our hotel because we willingly abandoned it. This is absurd. We did not take the flight because it was cancelled and we could not wait that long - we'd get to Waco at
1 a.m. the next morning. I plan to not take this airline again (if I can help it) and would prefer to drive instead in the future. |

Won't fly the airline again |
| I can't stand flying on low-cost subsidiaries of major carriers.
In this case, I was flying MetroJet and I never will again. [I
think] Metrojet operates old, poorly maintained 737-200s. I was stuck in a center seat in the very last row
of the plane (low cost airlines don't believe in advanced seat assignments) right next to the single functioning
bathroom, which smelled up my whole flight. On top of that, I was right next to a wall panel that vibrated
for the entire flight, and no drink service ever came around because of some light
turbulence that the pilot apparently just could not handle |

| I was
originally routed through Chicago O'Hare (ORD) on United Airlines (UA), but bad weather at ORD (whenever bad weather strikes an airport, it
is at ORD) so I was forced to fly non-stop, unfortunately. However, I am glad I did because Delta takes really good
care of its aircraft. The Boeing 727-200 I was on was as quiet as a '27 can be and in
excellent shape. (The subsequent electrical fire in the DC Metro tunnel that I was in really spoiled a perfect traveling day) |
