Special Aviation Events: The 44th. Paris Airshow 2001 - Le Bourget, France

These photos were taken  on Friday June 22, 2001.  This is last day of the Profesionals and Media only Days.  The show started on Sunday June 17, 2001 and ends on Sunday June 24, 2001.  The last two days are Public Days.   The Airshow occurs every other year.

    The Antonov AN225 with 6 engines and lots of wheels! This things can carry any and everything. Bangkok Airway's new Q400. Love the paint scheme. The Airbus Corporate Jet based on the A319. Here are some more photos of when it was first introduced in June 1999.

The Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) and Continental Airlines' B737-900 are displayed outside the Boeing Chalet. A closer look at the BBJ. It is built on the Boeinf 737-700' design. Here are some photos of one BBJ spotted in Cannes, France on May 13, 2001.
