      The monument is actually a museum that showcases the many different people of Ecuador.
 
The charge to enter the Museum/ Monument is 1.00 USD.        
 
    Straddling the hemispheres! The Northern is on the left.    
   
Having lunch in both hemispheres. The Northern is on the right. This property sits on both hemispheres. The Equator runs through the middle of this picture. The Northern is on the right The buildings at the Equator were designed to represent a typical Ecuadorian village having main a square, a church, a cockfight ring, homes and stores. The cockfight ring is that oval-shaped building in the background of both photos.  
   
The World as you have never seen it before  
 
The globe at the top of the Monument/ Museum represents exactly where you are and your position on the glove.      
 
 
         
 
There was some kind of celebration going on, complete with a Marching Band, which sounded very good by the way.
 
 
This square is the center of the "town." There is actually an Internet Cafe that is located on both hemispheres.

The church is located on both hemispheres.

 
 
     
This monument sits at the entrance to the Equator monument. It honors those who died during the wars in Equador.
