April 13, 2001: Cruising down the Nile

A view of the center of downtown Cairo from the boat on the Nile.	A belly dancer performs for the varied audience.


The next attraction was this guy who twirled the entire time he was on stage. He started wrapped in two flags of Egypt.





		After the Twirler left, the Belly Dancer returned in a different outfit.

The drop off area of the international terminal	Inside the departure area of the terminal. All the check-in areas are behind security which is to the right of the photos. No, the lighting is not bad, this is exactly how it looks.


Here is a view of the Flight Information display. You can go just about anywhere in Europe from this airport. many of these flights would have been our backup had we not gotten on our TW flight back to JFK.		The Air France (AF) and Swissair (SR) ticket offices.	The Alitalia (AZ) and British Airways (BA) ticket offices.	The entrance to the Egypt Air (MS) cafe which is located on the arrivals level of the terminal.


A view of the check-in area which is inside of Security.	The escalators that lead to the Duty Free and gate areas are just beyond the Immigration area.	The Duty Free area. The gates are at the end of the hallway.	This plaque was located in the galley area of our B763 which brought us back to JFK.
