A Mandarin Airlines MD-11 lands on HKG's new runway. A new runway on the right side of the airport will be open soon.
A China Eastern Airlines A340 on approach to the new airport. Nothing like the old approach at all!
It was a rainy afternoon, and the airport was put to the test. Note buckets trying to aid the leak opposite Gate 1.
