My name is Kerwin McKenzie and I am a commercial airline enthusiast.  I can still remember my first airplane flight in the Summer of 1974 as if it was yesterday.

I flew in a Cessna SkyMaster from the Tinson Pen Aerodrome in Kingston, Jamaica to Boscobel, Jamaica.  Actually, I just flew over the airfield in Boscobel. I was told that the flight was a payroll drop. We just descended on the airstrip, waved our wings, a guy then ran out and waved to us, we then flew over again and out dropped the payroll. We then headed back to Tinson Pen. I was elated!

My first commercial airplane flight was during the Summer of 1980 on BWIA (BW).  I flew from Kingston to Fort-de-France, Martinique, the aircraft type escapes me at this point.  I spent 17 days there on a French Student Exchange trip.  On our way back, we stopped in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti (PAP) for two days.

Today, I fly as often as I can, sometimes just for the sake of being in the air and around an airport or an airplane.  During any one weekend, my itinerary may take me to Brussels, Belgium (BRU) or possibly San Francisco, California (SFO).

Please join me at my Cruisin' Altitude!
